This is my homage to John Prine who was in my prayers when I recorded it on April 5, 2020. This is an acoustic version of his song Mexican Home. This song appeared on his album, “Sweet Revenge” as a rockin’ electric song. He never made a studio recording of the acoustic version but I discovered an internet video of his stripped down performance of the song at the Library of Congress in 2004. Since then he has released the audio from an acoustic version he performed live with Josh Ritter.
